I got a line on a 2g turbo for 1k, really clean car, but the guy say's it needs an ecu. Easy enough, I though, except he said it need's to be married to the car? I have no idea about this stuff.

Even if the code on the ecu didn't match the card couldn't it be sent in somewhere and flashed to match? How much am I loking at here? Any info at all would be appreciated.
