I recall seeing a thread earlier about changing out the engine hoses to a different color, like red.

Could someone show me where it is?

What is the difference between a GT and RS?

Once you figure out that answer.. answer this:

What does the RS and GS have in common?

Figure out the answers to those questions and you'll have your answer. Use the SEARCH feature on the site and read the FAQ.

Trim levels
The Eclipse was available in 7 trim levels: RS, GS, GS Spyder, GT, GT Spyder, GTS, and GTS Spyder. All models were FWD. The GTS trims were introduced in 2003, and the RS trim was dropped in 2005.

Third Generations (3G)(2000–2005):

Eclipse RS & GS: Base model equipped with a 150 hp 2.4 L 16-valve SOHC Mitsubishi 4G64 engine

"Quoted from the Always Useful Wikipedia"

The RS and GS both use the 4G64 so the engine is ot the differnece between the two models

Wow...can you add fast too? HIJACKER's orignial question was:

What is the difference between a GT and RS?

Once you figure out that answer.. answer this:
The difference is the engine size... Then he stated this as a clue:

What does the RS and GS have in common?
Yes, the RS and GS have the same engine...therefore, any engine parts for the RS and GS are interchangable.

As for Wikipedia, it is definitely not always useful...anyone can contribute to that site, leading to a lot of wrong information throughout the site...this is why most colleges and universities will not allow it to be used as a reference in upper level classes...:ghey:
