whst that opening right under the BOV on the pipe? what is that pipe made for? whats the diameter

Its 2.5" Stainless Pipe. Its made for an Evo8, but fits nicely in our engine bay. I honestly don't know what that opening is for, perhaps some sort of sensor. I will throw in a 1/8npt bung for it.

Being that the bung is opposite the BOV, im gonna guess the previous owner was running meth injection. The nozzle is two pieces, one you have to screw in from the bottom and one from inside the pipe, the only way to get the nozzle and a tool inside the pipe is if its close to either end, or thru the BOV opening. You can just block it off with no trouble.
