Finally, i got a line of aftermarket heavy duty shocks/struts for the 3g. These are 30% stronger then your stock hatch shocks and will keep your hatch from falling down due to old beat up worn out shocks. These are a direct replacement of your hatch shocks and bolt right in to your hatch and body.

Cost will be $90.00 shipped anywhere in the U.S. Canada and Hawaii $10.00 extra.

Complete hatch upgrade package with the upgraded hatch spring will be 104.00 shipped. This includes a brand new set of hatch shocks with upgraded hatch spring.

[email protected] for the total amount listed below. The shocks will be shipped by USPS. Please includes exactly where the shocks will be shipped to in the paypal not. Note: This is for the 00-05 3g Eclipse Only.

Who is the manufacturer?

They honestly look EXACTLY like the OEM ones, and there were various pressure rear struts on the Eclipse which depended on optional Rear Spoiler and optional Rear Wiper Assembly. The strongest struts were on the GT/GTS models that had both Rear Wiper AND spoiler.

So, are they 30% stronger than the force on those, or 30% stronger on the GS/RS versions?

They fit just like the OEM but are aftermarket. Correct these exceed the pressure of the GT/GTS models. They are made for the wiper, and aftermarket spoiler say the Shinestreet wing i have. I installed a set and can definitely feel a difference. Opens and closes a lot sturdier then stock. With the upgraded spring and these you should not have a single hatch related problem.

Eh, I'm looking for a little more specifics than that. You can cut the sales speech with me, I'm looking for specs on the strut and who the manufacturer is.

I'm not sure on the exact specs! I was told that they are 30% stronger then stock. I will try and find out. I do have a set on my car and i am 100% happy with them! No hatch problems at all.

WHO is the manufacturer? There is no way you're selling a product without any idea WHO the manufacturer of the item is. You're either:

A) Buying them from someone else and reselling
B) Having them manufactured and selling them

Regardless, both A and B have a MANUFACTURER associated with it. WHO IS THE MANUFACTURER, this isn't rocket science and shouldn't take a week to answer.

Being "told" doesn't make it factual, you may want to validate that claim. 30% stronger compared to which strut? There are several different rear struts Mitsubishi put on the 3G. I've been working on this for over 6 months, so surely - I know.

this guy is a rip off. i bought my set off ebay for like $55 shipped, and they have lasted me the last few years no problem.

this guy is buying and reselling these. simple as that.

just want to say thanx for ripping off fellow 3g'ers everywhere. o ya and that "upgraded hatrch spring....you can buy those at any local hardware store, just bring it and and show the guy, he can find you one for $2.

cant belive this guy is allowed to keep this post alive. if so, i am going to have to start doing the same thing for cheaper.

i find it funny how he didnt know the manufacture for how long, then afterwards when asked by hijacker for proof he says "i was told they are %30 stronger". "i was told" means that is what he read when he bought them off whatever site he bought them from.

nice sales speach though....

like i said before, this guy is a rip off. i could be an asshole too and go buy harder to find parts and make some profit here, but instead i think this community should work together and try and help each other find parts for cheaper.

this post would have been a whole lot better if he was like..

"hey, i just replaced my hatch supports with these ones from "<insert company name here>" they are awsome and here is a link to the website / auction if you guys need some"
