Whats up guys i finally almost got all my parts to install everything. I should be ordering my amp tommorow and install everything fairly soon so any suggestions or comments or anything is welcome. Me and my friend are installing it ourselves neither of us have installed an amp or sub before but we have a good idea of what were doing.
Sub= Audiobahn aw1206t
amp= Kicker zx1000.1
cap= Massive 2 farad (30 bucks at frys haha.)
im using monster 12 gauge twisted speaker wire
Rcas are just a simple 2 channel from knukonceptz(ordering power/ground wire there too)

You will need at least 2 gauge, if not 1/0 GA, power wire. I also suggest upgrading the big 3. If you can, return the cap, you don't need it. Also, if you can, return the audiobahn sub, it is garbage. You might want to put some bracing in that box too. You will need a big sub to take full power from that amp, as Kicker under-rates their amps, especially the higher powered ones. I would look into a 12" L7 or equivalent.
well im ordering 1/0 gauge and the cap was only 30 dollars i know it doesnt do much its more for looks. My friend has the same audiobahn and i loved the sound but he only has a 600 watt amp and ya that kicker should be pushin 1250 rms at 2 ohms

I wouldn' bother hooking it up then. Or atleast hook it up in a way where it can be disconnected easily, without messing up your other wiring. I've just never seen a cap that really helped with the issues the user was having.
well a capacitor is a capacitor its not gonna hurt the setup
