Got a new Scooter (nogaf)

Gas is killin my wallet. Im spending at least 50 a week just driving to and from work. I do like my car and have a considerable amount invested in it so selling it is not an option. I decided I needed another meens of transportation in and around town so yesterday I picked up a brand new 08 Kawasaki Ninja 650R http://www.kawasaki.com/Products/Detail.aspx?id=264 . I have experience riding dirt bikes and 4 wheelers but this is my first sportbike(hopefully I wont kill myself but I am a responsible person and I do take this bike seriously). I know in the long run im spending more money but short term im saving about 70 a month on gas and now i have a bike also. Anyways just thought I would share.

How much was it and do you like it? :twothumb:

I'm thinking of getting a Ninja EX250R because I've always wanted a ninja when I was a kid.

89 a month??? either you put a shit load down or it was financed through Kawi for X amount of time. If you did go through Kawi get it off asap, your rate is going to get jacked soon.

The MSRP is $3500 to boot (although a lot of people are saying they're really playing 4800 out the door)

i got my 650 for 6,950.00 out the door they wanted 7,300.00 out the door

just got my permit today at the dmv Imma take the rider safety course but its all booked till the end of june. Anyway imma start riding to and from work this week.
