Those of you who have the GTS intake manifold, what runners do you use when boosted. Do you lock the butterflys open and use the short wide runners or do you close them and use the long thin runners. :confused: I'm going to be running SDS stage 1 and ripp headers if it makes any difference at all.

In that case I would suggest the short runner then as thats what is used in the high RPM region on the GTS. Since you make most of your power in the upper RPM's, least above the 3500-4000 rpm's that the butterfly triggers at, thats what you should configure it for. It will hurt your low end a tad, but the extra power uptop will make it more than an even trade.

Thats what I was leaning towards. All I'm waiting on now is the manifold and other parts I sent out to get powder coated to come back and my Grey box from RIPP.
