HELP on choosing suspension dampener kit

ok i've been doing some research for a long time on here about rough riding suspension. when i got my rims i couldnt leave that huge gap between the car and rim so i bought a cheap ebay coilover setup just to get it lowered and i knew it was a bad decision but my car looked dumb at the time without it lowered. My front shocks are blown now and i cant even take my car into town because the front is bouncing up and down the entire way and its pretty scary..

anyways im about to buy a dampener kit and i dont know what would be a good kind.. i like the ksport basic kit but tein is pretty good too. ANY SUGGESTIONS! thanks

First suggestion: Don't buy suspension or engine or really anything off of Ebay. You get what you pay for.
Second suggestion: Just get yourself some GR2's and some cheap lowering springs and call it a day if you are just doing it for cosmetic purposes.
no i'm wanting to lower it more and the gr2 and the agx's are just going to do the same thing because i keep bottoming out really bad... any little tiny bump i hit it slams... i'm wanting to do it right

so do you want it lower or don't you?
agx and tien s-tech.
yes i want to lower it more but without all the bottoming out..

:agreed:
The agx and s-techs are used by a ton of people on here and I haven't read nor seen anything of that set-up bottoming out.
you cant go wrong with agx and tein h-tech. it gives just the right amount of lowering without always bottoming out. I personally can vouche for this set up cuz i have it. the ride is great and it gives your car a mean stance. i highly recommed this, you wont be sorry
Possibly what your feeling/hearing might be the bump stops! Have they been cut almost in half? If not, upon lowering, its a must, otherwise thats the feeling you get!

Now as stated above, what are you using the car for, D.D., drag, road race or show? Makes a differece, if its a D.D. then you must be concerned with road type, IE: pot holes, uneven surfaces, etc...The other 3 can be considerably lower! IMO...Then you could do Coil Overs........Hope this helps?
Like Bitter wrote AGX and Tein S-Techs. Hot stance and best on your pocket vs performace
kiddd do some more reasearch because people have told you and showed you what you can do and all you want to do is say the same thing over and over " I dont want to bottom out" s-tech,H-tech springs are min lowering,TEIN Basic Coilovers "No Pillow ball mounts" your choice on height,Megan Coilovers your choice on height.
I have an AGX and vogtland setup on my car, it looks nice and rides nice and i havent bottomed out yet.

:D
Im personally going with a Gr-2 and Intrax combo. I dont want to spend to much on struts and shocks that I probably wont even adjust. I dont plan on doing auto x either. These springs give you more of a close to stock ride but give you that lowered look. They will improve some performance but are not made specifically for performance use. They are made more with ride quality in mind.
