Im kind of new to the 3g world and not to great with cars, but i can do simple stuff and fallow instructions. My car gets alittle warm after i drive for awhile, i would say the guage is 3/4 to the top. Also when its warm and i turn the AC on it will go cool down, but if i stop at a light or idle for about 30 sec while the AC is on my car's RPM will jump slightly up then drop and will die. Any idea's???

Make sure to check all your fuses, especially whichever one controls the radiator fan(correct me if I'm wrong) because the AC being on will override the radiator fans regualr sensor?(total guess here) And I think it is normal for the rpms to drop and rise just slightly when the ac is on.....
But there is a good chance this is all entirely wrong so just wait a minute for someone who actually knows what they are talking about to respond

edit - I didn't read the part where you said the car dies when the AC is on...that is not normal.
Ill check the fuses 2marrow, but the rpms drop and rise on an idle and the car will shake then die out when im at a light. but only if the AC is on.
Have you changed/ disconnected the battery lately? Check your terminal connections for corrosion. Check your fans when the engine is running warm, and make sure they are both spinning. Malfunctioning fans is pretty common. I had a very corroded negative connection, and the engine was running a bit hot. I went to take off the screw, and it actually snapped in half. I replaced it and everything was fine. My geuss was that the corroded terminal was putting in a lot of resistance on the connection, which built heat, which built more resistance and put too heavy of a load on the alternator. I don't know a ton about electricity though.

No idea what would be causing that, but in my sunfire the fans weren't working and I ended up having ro replace them entirely. Just got a junkyard one and it worked perfect.
I tried checking the fans when it gets warm and they where both in motion, but also asoon asoon i open the hood it cooled off and no longer warm.
Why hasnt anyone told him to check his coolant level. Or asked him when the last time he had a coolant flush. Mine did that when I was a little low on coolant.

It could also be the relay or the radiator cap. Or the thermostat, but I'm doubtful it's the water pump.
I also want to thank anyone trying to help, all these responses came in fast its only been 20 min.

Lol, its always the easiest solution that gets checked out last.

That is true, the relay was fucked up in the sunfire, but in the end the fans were bad anyways so we still had to replace it.

Hmm, Then that would leave me to believe what has already been posted, Fuses. Check the ones under the hood as well.
Thank you guys for your efforts, ill post 2marrow see if fuses help. and again these responses came faster then i would of thought.
