Mine is up to over 143,000mi. and has never been apart, except for re-sealing the valve covers and spark plug seals. I took it out Friday for about 85mi. of mountain roads. It still really GOES !. Last year at this time it was not drivable due to some smog issues. It had been parked for 4 yrs. ...J.D.

Probably better off just grabbing a 6G75 and stuffing in there, relatively straight forward swap. No replacement for displacement, a bit more torque to work with compared to the 6G72.

Probably never happen. The car runs too good to tinker with right now. By the time it is in need of engine work, I will probably get rid of it. These cars are not really worth putting a lot of money or work into. But they are inexpensive entertainment while they last. ...J.D.

I think @Bitter was talking to @perksyk who indicated he is looking for more performance, whereas we all know that you are perfectly happy with your car as is, and being happy about anything these days is a good thing!!!

Whenever I consider any changes/mods, I take into account my satisfaction level in four categories: performance, endurance, looks and sound. Then I decide if the money is well spent based on the new part's impact on one or more of those four categories.

I buy stuff then hem and haw for ages before finally putting it on and kicking myself for not doing it ages ago! So far it's all worked by mostly dumb luck.

I really do not see what the big passion is about the clear lenses. I was not going to install them in my car, but the original amber ones got so old and faded, I had to do something. On the early models, the cheap and easy fix was to go to the clear ones. ...J.D.

Clear lenses is a new trend that everyone is doing, and rather, ruins the whole look of the car (essentially, Altezza/IS300 Lights 2.0 trend) I don't suggest you going clears, as it ruins the whole look of the car (unless if you're going for fender sidemarkers, but then again, who would aside from the folks that work on Mirages). Just stick with your OEMs for now.

Also, it's funny how a 16-year old poser (OP) that threatened to KILL a DSM owner because he got clowned by an SN95 owner and a DSM owner for lying about his HP numbers, claiming he made 300HP on just intake headers and manifolds (impossible for a stock 3G 6G72), is allowed on Club3G. I'm quite surprised. The kid is not here to learn or anything. He's being a poser for everyone to see the embarrassment that he's doing to himself.

To each his own, as they say.
As for myself, I'm progressing towards a "blacked out" look, since my 05 Spyder GT was already triple-black out of the factory. For the time being, I just spray tinted the front directionals along with the backup and third brake light lenses, and aftermarket black led taillights. The black out process will be completed this spring when I hyperdip my stock wheels, debage the exterior and carbon fiber vinyl the existing titanium trim on the door panels. I would love to respray the body with Musou black acrylic, the darkest black available, but it's bat shit crazy expensive.
Hell, even my wardrobe and home is a mostly black motif with grey and white contrast accents.
Basically I'm just not a very colorful guy!!!
LOL

Now as for the OP, the present forum moderators are pretty on top of things here and don't concern themselves with what a member has done elsewhere on the internet. I personally have found them to be reasonable in their actions and decisions regarding "problem" members. They will allow a certain degree of teasing and good natured ribbing, so anyone with a thin skin should be aware of that and wear their big boy/girl pants.
Both yourself and the OP are new members, so you are both under closer moderation, sorta like a probationary period. Physical threats and obvious intimidation/bullying are NOT tolerated. You are welcome to PM any moderator with info and/or concerns about other members, and you may request confidentiality to avoid retribution, similar to that afforded a whistleblower, as a comparison. My advice to you as a longstanding member is to limit your contact with anyone whom you have had previous conflict, and avoid talking disparagingly about other members while posting on the public threads. Keep that sort of discussion to the private message platform instead. Keep in mind that moderators do have access to the private message platform, so it's not the place where you can go off the rails without consequence.
These are just friendly suggestions and...

They've made more meaningful contribution here than you have so far.
