So i was in the process of changing out the light bulbs on the gauge cluster i ended up shorting something out. Acquired a new cluster and now im showing codes for the transmission and its stuck in limp mode. It goes into reverse and park it just doesnt shift whatsoever. I was wondering if anyone know what i might have shorted out and how would i go about fixing it?

The car is a 01 gt spyder at btw with around 160000 miles

No it's not the ecu. Are you sure you plugged all 3 connectors back into the cluster? Check all fuses one at a time in both the under hood and in dash fuse boxes. If everything was fine before and now this is happening then you probably don't have power to the trans sensors and solenoids. A scan tool should be showing codes if it's going into limp mode (stuck in 3rd and neutral light blinking).
