hey guys, i need your help.

i scored myself another ticket for expired inspection, but i can't get a new one done because my tires are pretty low. i have 8 more days to get the inspection done, but there's no way i can get new tires in the size i need in time.

so, anyone have a buddy that can help me out with the sticker for me?

Did you forget about your friend all the way out in Taylor? or where you looking for something in town?

i don't like burdening friends for favors. i actually think i may be able to pass my inspection with the current tires. i went out to get a tread gauge and measured 4/32... strange that i was measuring 1.5/32 when i was at Discount Tire a month ago.

if i'm getting really desperate, maybe I can bribe you with some dinner?

Steve did you measure or did Discount when you were there? You should be able to get tires for you precious Porshe in 8 days.. normally takes 3 days on a truck to get anywhere for Discount.

Discount measured at 1.5/32. I measured at 4/32. Kinda weird...

I talked to Discount, and they said the tire size is special order from the manufacturers. 7 days. bastards.

So, anyone wanna go to the beach?

Well if you wanna drive to Shepherd, the place here that does it only cares that your lights and horn work. Nothing about tires or cats or emissions or any of that shit. Just a current insurance card and $12.50 is all you need.

I NEED THAT TOO!

Inspection sticker expired. Way expired.

Service Engine Light due the O2 Sensor so I am told I cant get the inspection done.

What do I do?

ok so let me get this right? is the sensor the only thing you need? dont understand why is so difficult to get the inspection done! same happened to me and i just replace it and got my sticker! end of the story
what is the real problem?

there are endless places to get an ispection sticker ( not the right way!) im sure everyone knows someone .. i mean come on....

You should be abe to get an 02 sensor at a muffler shop and I'm sure they do inspections as well... don't know tho'

thats my point^^ ^ and yes most of them do! have sensors if not they order it, and do ispections as well

I dont know any muffler shops and how to distinguish between them.

Please recommend me a place to get these things done - preferably WEST SIDE of town - Dairy Ashord (Near BW8) & / I-10:

- Inspection Sticker (Some cop told me that I can still get an inspection sticker easily even having the Service Engine Light on. The only reason I figured I cant get it is because the local Jiffy Lube guys told me that I need that light & code taken care of first -) >> CAN I GET THIS DONE LEGAL or have to go under?

- Brakes

Code - P0141 - 02 (Bank 1 Sensor 2) - Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction.

This was the code. Can you advise on which part I would need?

I also posted on http://www.club3g.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53258 thread to get some advise.

This was the code I got a couple of years back. I know I neglected the damn thing but I've hardly been in town or the country. I can go re check at local Oriellys Autozone right now and post again.
