Interior is Peeling

I've done some searching but I haven't found anyone with a peeling problem who hasn't painted their interior. I have the stock 03 interior (with the god awful blue pieces) and in some places the plastic almost seems to be peeling off. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to fix this without having to paint the pieces. Eventually I think I will paint the blue stuff but right now the peeling is just on the black and I would like to try to avoid painting that if possible. I thought maybe using plastix or some high grit wet sanding might take care of it but I don't wanna screw up the wrinkle finish. Here's a pic of what's going on. It doesn't really show the problem that well but it's the best my camera would do.

Anyone have any ideas?

That's not peeling - that's just wear and tear of plastic.

So nothing I can do but sand a repaint?
My old 03 GTS had that same issue. In fact one of my door panels looked exactly like that. When and where did you get your car?
Yep typical stuff man, sand it and shoot it.

I got it used about a month ago at a dealership in Maine. It's a GT but I don't think that really matters a whole lot. All these little things weren't enough to keep me from buying it. I could do without the rust on the seems in the engine bay though. Now I'm just trying to get it looking new again.
Put some interior Armorall or something like that. You need to do it 1s in two weeks to hide the scratches you made. Also, be careful and do not scratch the panels anymore. If you paint interior, you will damage it a way faster as it now, and any armorall can't help - you need to reassemble and re-paint the pannel. You can put some clearcoat on you pannels - it will hide those scars. But you have to have an experince. If you do that remove any dirt, wax and armorall from the pannels - otherwize you will get shit.
