thanks for everybodys input. joey just sent me the money he owed via paypal. although it took way longer than it was supposed to, it looks like he did come through in the end. thats all i asked for. so now that that is done, could a mod please delete this thread as part of our deal.

well if he shows you the receipt for the money he sent and you never got the money he isresponsible for contacting USPS or whatever he used to straightened out problem.Ask him what did he send, Money order,personal check or cash (hope not). If you cant resolve th problem you should just split cost in half and call it a day. You will not get any farther by arguing.
P.S. This is also a perfect example why we should use paypal or registered mail !!!

i talked to him yesterday, he said he was gone because he was having family difficulties. i had a problem with an hid kit, but im just gonna buy a replacement even tho one of them goes on and off all the time. =/ i guess just give him some time to get back with you. im sure he'll answer eventually. thats all i can really give you, good luck

i dont understand why you guys think paypal will help you all so much. because fact is they dont. yes you can win a claim in your favor but that does not mean you will get every dime of your money back. if their paypal account is zero you dont get anything back. paypal cannot legally go into someones bank account and debt that refund money. so how does that give you so much protection? i have been scammed a few times and paypal has done nothing to help me get it back.
the only good thing about paying with paypal is that you can use your bank card or credit card to pay..then you have a better chance by filling a claim threw your bank. but stop counting on paypal so much. fact is their buyer protection is crap. and that company is as shady as they come.

(1) Alot of people on this board deal with me through business transactions and sometimes its hard to keep track of everyone. All my clientel are fully satisified with my services.
(2) I am not a kid and do not live with Mommy and Daddy.
(3) Gts for the 4th or 5th time I have stated to you that the money order was sent and I have a recepit I can show you. I have asked for you to provide me with a fax number since my copier is not working at the moment.

:agreed: I've had the sam experience, and even if you win the claim if the person has no money in their account and never add it after the claim you loose anyway! hey i saw above that he posted something about needing your fax number or a fax number to get it to you, that seems pretty reasonable. if he can scan a money order receipt then you can see that it was sent and take the dispute up with the money order company or postal service.

yeah thats understandable..but i do not have a fax machine and dont know of one where he can send it to. i was seeing if he could maybe just scan a copy, host it, and post it or something.

First mistake is sending something to someone to accomodate their needs and paying out of pocket to get nothing in return like "promised". All in all at this point I hope that this situation gets resolved where he mans up and pays you your money.

Then fucking show it. Go to a store. Make a copy at work. Do something to get him and show us proof that you are not a liar. It's not hard to send someone proof either by mail or through the help of someone else to copy and post it online. Because i made the mistake by thinking i could trust him. He said he really needed the wheels for the winter or his biggest investment would be ruined. He promised me that i would have the money for shipping in february. At the time I could afford to spot him the money...i just didnt know it would be june and i still wouldnt have my money and i probably wont ever get it.i don't get it.

thanks for taking up for me bro! and yeah i agree with you 100% on calling bs about him having a copier. If hes doing all these transactions through the web then i can assure you he either has one or has access to one whenever needed. The only reason he doesnt have one now is simply because he never sent me the money. Once again, joey please man the fuck up.
