Have a 2001Eclipse and for the life of me can’t figure out how to remove the rear view mirror.

If you do not see the allen screw in the base attached to the window, it may have a cover over it. From what I have read, there is a special tool to remove this, but I'm sure you could figure it out.

on my 03 gs the rearview is not bolted on as other cars are . it just slides onto a thing thats glued to the windshield.. you need to slide the rear view mirror towards the headliner
