Looking for help with shipping

Hello all,
has any of you previously dealt with shipping large items from US to EU? I am looking to buy a plastic dash cover for my 3G, but they are only available in the US. When asked about shipping to EU, the store have estimated a cool $350+ shipping fee.
So I was thinking, maybe some fellow 3G owner has a business where they regularly ship stuff abroad, or maybe someone based in EU ships from US and would be willing to take one extra package. Or maybe you are just a cool guy who could spend a couple minutes of your spare time to check with other shipping companies if they send large parcels cheaper. I would be willing to spend around $200 on shiping, the part itself cost only $148, but what can you do, right?
Anyways, I am looking forward for any help or insights regarding the US->EU shipping, thanks!

In order for anyone to help you, they would need to know the size and weight of this package. Fortunately for me, there is a parcel post service on the boarder of US/Canada that I used to get this very same item. The cost to use this service was only $5 dollars, and then I got someone to go across and pick it up That cost me $15 dollars and a handshake from a good friend Jax............
Your best bet is to contact the different shipping services in the EU that deal in shipping from the US. You may be able to make arrangements to have this parcel delivered to their location in the US for delivery to you...

Agreed, look for a re-shipper. I used one a couple times to order things from Japan that didn't ship the USA. I didn't overnight my car parts from Japan but it was pretty fast shipping.

i have a business that sends packages to bosnia for $1.60 per Lbs of the package but somone would have to come pick it up from there.
