Hello everyone! Long time stalker of the forum since late 2016/early2017. I actually just got my hands on this White Eclipse GT about almost 5 months ago after buying my Talon two weeks beforehand as it started knocking. Got it for a steal at $550 bucks and all it needed was a timing belt and water pump replacement but come to find out there was LOTS wrong with it that it needed to be freshened up some because there's lots of old parts and lots of stuff that just wasn't right with the car.

So far, all it has is this done to it:

Engine
6G75 Non-MIVEC Upper Intake Plenum

Stock 501 MAF (I have the 482 MAF but don't have the 3/3.5 inch intake piping to put it on, let alone the Tactrix Cable I'm waiting on to tune the car for it)

3000GT VR4 Fuel Rail

EGR Delete

6G74 Chrome Valve Cover

Ralliart Filler Cap

Heat Wrapped Radiator with Blue Accents

And that's about it as far as mods go for now that's currently on the car. Everything else is stock and untouched basically but I've got an ENTIRE build list for this thing starting off NA, then going straight to turbo setup. All on the same 3.0L we got, no swap needed since I've already got another Eclipse with one. I'm genuinely curious as to what these 3.0L's can be pushed to when actually modded correctly

Future Mods
Tein Coilovers

Evo 8/9 Enkei Wheels

HKS Super Dragger Exhaust System (GS-T)

Quaife LSD

Magna Headers

3/3.5 Inch intake piping (482 MAF Conversion)

Hood Spacers (For 75NM Plenum Hood Clearance)

Tune on 93 Octane! (E85 & Walboro Fuel Pump upgrade will come later)

I'll post more pics as they come but for right now, this is how she looks! Recently cleaned off the wheels the best I could have but so far I'd say a much needed improvement over how she looked when I first got it. I'll post those pics later on since I gotta go really far back to February to get them lol

As you can see, not the cleanest ride out there, but could definitely be worse! It's got a long way to go still but for now, she is doing much better than what it was at first!

I'm a bit late to read this but I thought to let ya know that idk yet.

Right now I don't know since I've had to wait a while to get my mechanic to help me finish up the T-Belt & Water Pump but I will have to see. I deleted mine but I will also try tuning it with my homies Tactrix Cable when I can turn it over and tune it so it won't throw that code just incase. Plus I have a 482 MAF that I have yet to throw on only because I don't have 3.5 inch piping to fit it at the moment but when I do, I'll definitely let you know as I hear that also makes a whole world of s difference when you get it on there. I think I took a pic of both of them side by side but I don't remember but they're a massive difference in size between the two!

Small update as of 8/7/22:

So the white 3.0L car is getting registration and insurance sometime within a month or so, possibly less but as for right now I'm not driving it much at all since I don't want any police trouble since its uninsured, unregistrered and has no plates currently. But in the meantime, my 3.5L swap car which I will also post pictures of when I get the chance, and in the meantime I'm paying my buddy to do the battery relocation on that car as well as he registered it while he has it so tht cars legal until I can get that one insured and registered by next month. (Mind you, I also have a Hyundai Accent getting a Beta 1 Elantra 2.0L swap and Talon ESi that needs a replacement 420A as well so my pockets will be drained from them all lol but I wouldn't want it any other way tbh.)

I've also purchased the EVOScan software and a Tactrix 1.3 cable with the software on it that's also going to be here by next Monday when I go and tune the car to bring it back down with me after everything is complete on it. It's a fresh swap too and the fluids and everything will get replaced as well since it sat since February so I'm hyped. Then after that, I will finish up the white 3.0L and get her re-tuned and on the road legally and start saving for some bolt-ons and re-tune it again just to see what it makes!

Also came to figure out recently, that my 75NM Upper Intake Plenum I bought from the same guy, who has let me keep my 3.5L swap at his place since I bought that car from him too, is also ported so I am REALLY stoked to see how much BETTER the 72 breathes up top with a proper intake plenum setup over the old super choker standard GT one that seems to have problems breathing after 5500rpm. I know, not that exciting of an update but trust, there will be more as this is only the start to an interesting journey!
