From what I know about the head swap you need to read alit more. The evo 4 motor and I think anything 4g63 up to like 2000 at least is all 180 compared to our motors. What I'm trying to say is, the exhaust and intake will be on the wrong side when compared to the can. I think your limited to an evo8 head or a head out a sonata or some kias.
Not sure what power your trying to put down, but the stock head is good for around 17psi or a certain cfm before it just can't flow enough. Unless your looking for massive amounts of power, I wouldn't drop 2 grand and many hours trying to do a head swap. I've turboed and I'm happy with where I am and that's on a smaller turbo and 12psi.
As for turbo stuff, you have a pretty good list, but I would go through some members builds and try and get an idea of what you want and need.
