I was taking off suspension on my 03 eclipse and when I broke that big bolt connecting the strut to the knuckle, it didn’t just break the bolt. I broke the bolt and the thing that connects it. If you look at the photo, the rubber part of the strut didn’t come off with it so when I took that off, the metal didn’t come with it. Now it’s too fat to fit the strut, so I’ll order a new part but I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT ITS CALLED. Someone please help my car has been on jacks for a week 🙏

So the part that came from the strut is the bushing sleeve, you can cut/grind that off just be careful not to cut into the pin. Then you can just thread the pin back into the knuckle when it’s all cleaned up.
Thank you so much! Hopefully I can get this sorted soon!
