I would consider selling my 2001 Eclipse. I have owned it since February 2005. 143,000+ miles. The car is totally rust free. It has lived all it's life in the Desert South-West [USA]. First in Las Vegas, now in San Bernardino County, Ca. It is a Fed Spec. V-6 5-speed GT. The car is not a show car. It gets driven. Just thought I'd put it out there and see what response I get. After having this car listed for sale for a couple of weeks, I see two things. One: No takers. Two: I have not found anything I can replace it with for the money. I just saw on TV that the average NEW car in the US now costs over $48000. The average car on the U.S. roads today is 12.5 years old. This one is 22 years old, but it is still sound and runs strong. It is worth keeping because it is reliable. Just thought I'd try to open up some garage space, but I guess not. I am keeping it. ...J.D.
