Did you replace the seals after dropping the tranny?

rear main seal to be more specific.
Could be the rear main seal or the input shaft seal on the trans also. Just buy both. They are easy to replace.

You getting a new clutch???
yes i got a new clutch and im thinking it's the input shaft seal because its gear oil not motor oil. and it didn't do it before i changed the tranny.
You obviously need to replace the seals. Be smart and replace both at the same time.
i will do thanks
Do yourself a favor and get a cheap set of calipers. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=47256 With the calipers you will be able to measure the depth that the seals are pushed down from the surface. It is very easy to push the seals in too far. It is also very easy to put the seals in crooked. Both install errors could cause leaks or other problems, so be carefull.

I have never used a seal driver, but they can be used to keep from putting in the seal crooked. I don't think this set has the correct sizes that you need, but it will show what they look like. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=95853
a seal driver wont really help with the shafts inplace, a large deep socket would work out better i'd think....from experience.

also, dont forget about oil leaking from above and running down. less likely, but please do give the whole engine a good looking over for other leaks and keep track of them. odds are if those seals are leaking, so are other ones like axle seals, cam seals, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, etc.
thanks guys i've fixed the leak and finally no slipping clutch..by the way which o2's are bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 1 sensor 2
bank one is the one with cylinder one. sensor 1 is a primary sensor sensor 2 is a downstream sensor.

So what all did you have to replace?
thanks..bitter,,i replaced clutch, input shaft seal, and driveshaft seals the dealer told me that the real main was a lifetime seal and he didn't recomend changing it.
