Hey all. I know there is a lot of problems with the dual halos concerning the chrome around the projector. Well i read up and thanks to the help of 04 MOJOGT i decided to paint the entire housing black. I just finished my drivers side headlight and it looks great.
Totally gets rid of all the reflection above the cut off line:twothumb:

hey thanks! black satin spray paint, sandpaper(1000 grit), black silicone.
Im gonna make a HOW TO should be up in a little while!

awesome. i would 100% buy these if they made them like this. i might have to get a set and do this myself now. have any issues with heat from the lights with the spray paint?? melting, bubbling, etc?

Cool, i got same duals in my cellar (bought just in case)
will paint them also... just need to find black heat-friendly paint

Now they look like Sonars with cups.

Probably easier to just buy Sonars or Depos...

do your dual halos shine light out of the top of the heard light, sorta by the housing? If not did you do anythign to fix that?

wait wha?? you mean my actual halos? do they shine light? and if so. no i didnt.

Sorry for such a vague question......Right aroudn there the light from my halos show at night....sorta like its seeping through somewhere it shouldnt be.
