FINNALY! here are some pictures of my recent project.. air vent LEDs! .. leave some comments on what you think please!









INSIDE THE AIR VENTS.. The LEDS arent actually that close and visible.. I moved that one up a little bit just to show you guys before I secure it down..



AND KIDS, DONT FORGET A RUBBER!! hahaha..

You should get rid of the amber bulbs and get blue LEDs for those so it all matches. Or not cuz I'm kinda doing that with green lol

ACTUALLY I literally just purchased, at 12:31 am, the 12 leds for my guages and hvac/radio/climate control stuff or whatever it all is. Total plus shipping was $33.94 and in like 2 weeks I can tell you how they look.

Well... it's blue :)

I think it'd look better if you did something with your interior. I like the neons with a set of the diamond plate floormats for them to reflect off. Maybe color match your center console and some of the dash pieces.

how much are the diamond plate floor mats i wonder? .. cause thats a good idea..

and first I just have to do the gauge/hvac/radio lights to blue..

any donations to me for interior chnages? haha

$33.99 is the cheapest like anywhere for 12 leds that fit certain bulbs. Believe me its a good price from a quality website. And those diamond plate mats do sound cool.

lol it hought it would cost at most $20 though :( .. damn, is it ok with just bulbs or really worth that much more for the LEDs?

The bulbs look great, but only after like 8:00. Other wise you just cant see them almost at all. At least that's what happened to me. I love them, but not at the cost of having a few hours where I can't see my mph or rpm. But if you want, you can hold off on the LEDs until I get mine then I'll tell you how they are.

hmm.. how long do you think it will be before you upgrade? .. and I have better than 20/20 vision so If its just kinda hard to see them at dusk, I could live with it to save $20 .. lol then agian thats just 2 more hours of work so what the hell lol..

I'm not like waiting to upgrade, but I'm waiting for the shipping lol then it will be done. Secondly, it's not like they were fuzzy, it just doesn't light up enough with the bulbs so if you can see perfectly, it doesn't help if all you can see is perfect black lol

OH! i see what you mean lol... hmm well I saw some Bulbs at autozone a few mins ago $3.00 for 2 of the 194 sized.. i went there for the night shade tininting stuff but didnt see any and the guy didnt think they had ne .. typical car part store..

haha dude.. I realize that, I just havent ordered them yet because im waiting to see if just replacement bulbs would be bright enough or if I would have to use the LEDs.. and pay alot more.. :twothumb:
