No I don't but my knowledge when comes to cars is as much as my high school small engine repair class taught me. Which is very little. Since it was lawn mower engines. Lol
Everything needs to be in an eli5 format please.
Without anyone else offering advice yet, I will offer this, you need to isolate the sound. Find out exactly where it is coming from. There are a few rotating parts in there. Gotta figure out which one is making the sound. I can't do it for you, would if I could, but you gotta get in there and listen. This approach can be applied to any vehicle, so that's where I'm coming from. Could be a belt off track, a pulley bearing going bad (as mentioned), etc. Does the frequency of that sound increase with RPM's? If so, that narrows it down even more to one of the rotating parts. Speaking generically here, not specific to the Eclipse.
Easiest and most definitive way to get your direction is to pull off one belt at a time and run the engine with it off. If the nose disappears, then the affected pulley is on that belt.
