I was wondering if any of you guys know how much maaco would charge to paint my 99 corolla black! Right now it's factory green, the lady before me did not know how to drive and the rear bumper needs to be replace and it's scaratched up. Whats the cheapest best place to go for a paint job?

Call Maaco and ask. :ugh2:
want to add, black is a tricky color to do right. pick something else like a metallic blue or maybe bright yellow. yellow is pretty hard to mess up...and no one will hit you and say 'sorry, i didnt see you'
Ehh.. I say why waste the money...

You might be able to get a maaco job for $300-500 or so, but it will last you about a year before it starts to peel and crack. Plus there's always TONS of bleed into things like the rubber gaskets around the windshield. I would leave a car faded or scuffed before I put a maaco job on it.

i used to own a del sol (i know i know please dont remind me), i only paid 200 for it and it was in decent shape, just needed some paint, maaco did a $300 "Blue pearl" paintjob, it literally turned purple, they also painted over the cai filter, rims, rotors, and grill mesh, theyre hacks

i paid around $1500 for my job at maaco and that was to REpaint the current color. this price included removal of the weatherstripping, bumpers, mirrors, etc... and taping off everything to prevent overspray and they managed to get primer inside the engine bay and back hatch. this was a base coat/clear coat job and it came out orange peely as hell! i'm not trying to bash them but i think when it comes to painting cars you do get what you pay for.

especially wen it was a 300 dollar job, but i turned that car and made a profit so it was all good in the end. in all seriousness though if your getting paint work done, go to a reputable body shop, like stated, you get what you pay for
