Ok so I have downloaded and installed Songbird 0.3. I am using it right now but I can not find it anywhere in my files so that I can make a shortcut to my Panel. Where would it be located?

E-rep to anyone who can help.

Try this first
1) Log out of your session
2) Log back in. See if your panel has been updated
Or if you know how to get the pid for your panel app, then "kill -HUP <panel pid>"

Long way if the above doesn't work
1) login as root
2) run updatedb
3) login as yourself
4) run "locate songbird" (assuming that's the startup program name)
5) create your own shortcut on the panel

If you don't have the slocate package installed, then
1) cd /
2) find . -iname *songbird*
This'll take a while
