The noise mostly happens in the morning and after work. I figured it was just from sitting. But its getting worse.

The noise is in the right rear wheel and it gets worse when I press the brakes. But if I bring it to a complete stop, the noise normally stops til the next time I let it sit more than a couple hours.

Please help ASAP as the noise is getting worse.

2000 Eclipse GT. All stock except the rims I believe.

Have you removed the wheel to inspect the brakes or wheel bearings? Thats where I would start. Try to recreate the noise with the rear up in the air. One thing that comes to mind due to a recent experience is a loose wheel. Check the lug nuts for tightness.

Could it be from tiny debris making its way in there? The squeak has stopped now. But Im still going to check when I have time.
