The turbo i just bought and received looks like it has been set up for a 4cyl. off the manifold. That dosn't work with the piping i have for my 6cyl. What would be the procedure for switching it so the oil send line is one the top and not the bottom? Any thing i should be aware of popping out?

loosen bolts on turbine housing to rotate. if its a used turbo, it wont rotate easily cause of rusting
you will have to hammer it to rotate. make sure you loosen all the bolts on the turbine back side

So basically i do the whole turbine housing + oil housing as one and leave the compressor?

I typically loosen the bolts on the turbine and the compressor just enough for them to spin freely on the oil housing. Then position them on the inlet flange and tighten one bolt on each housing once you got the positions for each one.
