If it's coming from your brakes it may just be the metal tab from the pads rubbing on your rotors. This indicates it's time for new pads
Screeching Sound
There is a noticable screeching sound when the car is moving, sort of like metal rubbing on metal. It doesn't usually happen when I brake at low speeds. I already know I need a new wheel bearing, so I'm not sure if this is related. It's annoying and probably isn't good that it's making that sound. Any ideas on what's wrong?

:agreed: when was the last time the brakes where changed?
Yeah I have a feeling it's the brake pads. I have never replaced the brakes in the 8 months I've owned the car, so I really don't know exactly when they were changed.
