with about 1100 miles on it....

What should I do with it? I'm thinking I might be able to buy some sort of VW powered sand rail for cheap and repower it with the gixxer engine.

Anyone have any ideas?

sand duning for the win. get a nice boondocker kit and be happy. its an easy swap too, and will scare you shitless everytimke you ride it

I don't want another four wheeler. This summer when I have a bit more money, I would like to try to find something that is already a platform, be it a road go cart, or a sand rail type buggy.

Not really sure what you are going to do with it but if you ever want more power seeing its already out of a bike swap the cams with the 1000.

Keep em coming.... I might consider the four wheeler thing, but for the price of a nice condition rolling chassis, I could have a sweet tubed sand rail just ready to have this engine retrofitted into it.

I think I am going to start parting it, but I don't know what it is all worth.


It's the engine with all electronics minus the ecu, all harnesses, everything... rear shock, swingarm, ect... Anyone have any idea? What is the engine itself worth?

i'd put it in a old mini cooper body, or a smart car, or a gutted old vw bug...maybe a old renault 5 or something lol little tiny cars thats for sure!

It is WERA roadracing and I always see a ton of engines go through there. I have seen an 06 750 with a lot more miles then you have go for around $1200 just to give you an idea.
