I put small amounts of silicone right where the weather stripping meets then let it almost completely dry before closing the roof so that it can form to the shape of the roof. No more water leaks.

i have taken out all of my rugs and rear seat, and trim,
i did this in order to dry the car out from a leak at the ac drain, but now i have found if the car is sitting in heavy rain, as soon as i pull away i get about a quart of water streaming in above/ behind the rear pass speaker, 6x9
it then drains to the rear pass seat floor, but i can not find where its coming from, and no its not the rear quarter window or seals...????

If you read the first post, that is your rain flaps. There are guides that trap water and carry it to spill out of the car, but if these sag or aren't bolted up properly they will drain it right under the rear seat. Take it to a top specialist.

Hi! My dtr just bought her first car, an '05 eclipse spyder canvas top 111K miles. After a hellacious week of storms, we discovered a large passenger side puddle leak of origin not mentioned above, if anyone possibly knows the answer. Investigation with a hose commenced. When watering the passenger side lower windshield and cowl area, water runs in like crazy from high up, seemingly coming from the upper right corner direction. It runs in along the firewall and also drips pretty fast from somewhere higher than the little wire cluster coming in from the fire wall, dripping down from a plastic barrier I can't see beyond. Considerable amount of water getting in. Had to pull up front and rear carpets after that week of rain. My 23 y/o dtr just bought the '05 and is feeling quite defeated over this. We, the parents, are DIY'ers and not quitters :) We may be older parents but we're determined that she not feel like she's lost her hard-earned money on this first car! This is a FUN classic! But I've not had good luck with research on this particular leak. Thanks for ANY advise and help!(y)

Maybe a clog somewhere.
If you have an air gun with an air pump, you can start spraying out the areas where you see the water is going to and through, see if you can clear anything out.
Start from the front of the windshield with the hood up and air spray any where you see water flows..if it be an weatherstrip or even a metal hole that leads to the unknown.
Do the same thing for where you see water from on the inside..air spray where the water is dripping or coming from, see if it clears anything up.
