What model turbo (size, etc) do you guys think would be ideal for a custom turbo kit. T3/T4, T4.... I know that ball bearing turbos spool up faster but would that be a positive thing with the FWD traction issues and the motor's low end output? Basically, does anybody have suggestions based on their experience.
Well, I'd like to get around 350HP maybe and try to get 1/4 mile times in the 13's to start. Once I can afford some more motor work done maybe more. Do you think that would be attainable on a stock long block w/ forged pistons?

Traction-wise is it better to have a slower spooling turbo so that the boost doesn't come on too soon? Or am I just inappropriately assuming that you would have better traction after the car is at a higher RPM level.

For 350(wheel) horse power you would need to look into upgrading your engine and get a T3/T04e. For 350 a 50 trim like we've been using would be a great point as it will provide optimal power for 350whp but not become inefficient with maxing it out at 450.

When the turbo hits full boost your going to lose traction regardless, IMHO it's better if it spools quicker so it won't be putting as much power down at the lower RPMs versus the top for an overall smoother engagement in power. But for 350whp, the traction issues can be remedied with better tires, motor mounts and stiffer struts.

What do you think engine-wise would be a necessary upgrade? I'm planning on doing forged lower compression pistons any thing in addition? Also what compression is optimal for this range?
Any recommendations for injectors and fuel pump size?
400cc injectors walbro fuel pump as for EMS, you can go with SAFC, E-manage, Haltech, AEM EMS (if its released). You can also try using the ECU reflash. Most of these questions you are asking can be find by searching

You can look on our site and from the products we sell you can tell what kind of upgrades we recommend. http://tearstone.com
Injectors, 400~440cc will be more than enough. The Fuel pump only comes in one size but if you use the e-manage you won't need to use the fuel pump. Fuel pumps are for low budget pressurized setups.
I recommend a Greddy E-manage for piggy backs or reflash your ECU. But your asking a lot of questions that could easily be found by doing a search since most of these questions your asking has been discussed quite extensively already.

Would you Guys Recommend Going SDS or 50 Trim Turbo? for a 2002 GT? Cause im looking to spend about 3K. What is the safest mod between turbo and sds? because V6 Engine is a different story.. So SDS or Turbo?

If you have $3.4k though, you can get a badass used setup that will give you 300whp at 8psi
