Ok I searched and got nothing! So i figured this just might be a preety damn good question. I really like the styles of switch blade keys, and i was wondering if anyone has done it for the eclipse. I have a 03 rs and i really want one done. I googled it and i got a website www.sharkracing.com but we would have to tape our keys near the ignition cuz of our immobilizer. is there any other way?

that is kickass, too bad about the immobilizer though. I'd rather have my car not get stolen instead of a cool key

are you saying that our key is actually like Hyundai's except for the chip in the key?

My mom had that style on her old Mercedes SLK Kompressor...they look nice, but they also have the lock/unlock/trunk buttons built in, and if you notice, the cuts in the key are not along the outter edges, but on the inside...I personally don't see how it would work...you'd need a completely different lock cylinder...as for the immobilizer, those of use that have it disabled don't have to worry...:bigthumb:
