Anyone have any success?
No - it won't. Once you fail this with a set of discontinued lights, you're going to be slightly pissed off.so the good ol' bake it off technique should work then. Thanks man I'll give it a try. +1
Because you're not attempting something for the first time, it's been tried, to I'm sure DOZENS of sets. Those who can take apart every headlight housing and have mastered this skill still haven't been able to properly break the seal on those taillights - so I know damn sure someone won't be able to do it on their first attempt.Second, codeman is saying that he has had success with this. So why is it that this will not work with some gentle prying and patience?

Okay, so you're saying that the TYC's are more difficult? I wasn't aware that they were more difficult I just said TYC for an example. Anyway, because it's cheaper I will go with the altezza's of some sort I think.Because you're not attempting something for the first time, it's been tried, to I'm sure DOZENS of sets. Do it and report back.Okay, so you're saying that the TYC's are more difficult? I wasn't aware that they were more difficult I just said TYC for an example. Anyway, because it's cheaper I will go with the altezza's of some sort I think.
The fact that I have not tried this before doesn't automatically DOOM me to failure. With caution this will be tedious but easy.
Will do! Thanks guys.Do it and report back.
