The 6th Annual Superbowl of Sound

Hey everyone, I am promoting this event that is being held at Quaker City Raceway on July 20th, I would love to see a good showing from you guys at this event. It should be a good time. It is called the Superbowl of Sound. Check out the info and flyer below.

There will be a car audio sound competition for those of you with systems, a car show, a burnout competition, and drag racing all day (should be able to get as many runs as you want and possibly a gambler's race as well).

Here is the schedule of the events:

Gates Open - 10am

Drag Racing - 11am

Sound Competition - Noon

1/4 mile Wheelie Contest
- Practice at 1:00 and 3:00pm, contest at 4:00pm

Burnout Competiton - 530pm

Track Closes - 6pm

UPDATE: Advanced Custom Sound in Warren OH is sponsoring the Sound Competition. These guys do tremendous work and they have all the necessary equipment to put on a very professional sound competition.

Also, Boardman Mitsubishi car dealership is sponsoring the Car & Bike Show portion of the event. They are the main mitsubishi car dealer in the area, they plan on having a few Evos and/or Eclipses on display the day of the show.

Theres gotta be a good 3G showing for a Mitsubishi sponsored event!!

They actually have dB Drag and SQs still? I thought them went out years ago.

Nope still going on. This is the 6th annual Super Bowl of Sound event that we've done, and looking for another good turnout like we usually have.

So do any of you guys think you are gonna come to the event?

Reason i ask is because what I am working out with the local car clubs is that if they can guarantee me a certain minimum number of cars I am reserving some track space for them.

If enough of you guys can go, then I can do the same.

Guys, great news, I worked out with my sponsors some great prices for the event.

Only $10 for spectators, and $20 to participate in any single event, $10 for each additional event!!!

i will be there for sure. im the only 3rd gen because i cruise with the supras most of the time. if i come tho ill have prlly a Focus SVT, 2 89 Supras, Yamaha R6, GSXR 600, My car, and possibly a Mazda Axela (Mazda 3). that be cool?

Less than 1 week until the show!

Unfortunately the show got rained out except for the DB Sound off event.

SO the show still go on, it has been rescheduled to this coming Sunday July 27th. Same time same place. Details will be on the way.

I was glad to see Kris with the bagged green 3g come out to the show. Maybe some more of you guys can make it this weekend.
