You probably have a vacuum leak. Take the car back to shop. Make sure they put the gasket in the right way.
1) check for vac leaks
2) reset the ECU
I wouldnt suggest putting the Diamante TB on the stock plenum. Your defeating the purpose of even having it since the inlet of the stock plenum is smaller then the Diamante TB and your actually hurting performance.

I agree. I just didnt see where he said he had the stock maniold installed. The TB by itself would be a waste. If anything I would think it would hurt performance due to the mismatched flange sizes. Actually... will the diamante TB valve even open all the way if it is bolted to a GT manifold? I didn't think it would... :dunno:
Thats probably the whistling hes hearing, the effect the TB is having on the flow of air.
well I got the car back from the shop today and got it fixed!! I also have the diamante manifold with megan header. The car sounds and performs great, cuz i also added a few extra stuff to it, ill get a up a sound clip of it
Here is a picture of my set up
What year Diamante is that TB from? All the 3.5 diamante TB's I've seen (including mine) have the cruise control canister right under the STB in our cars.

:agreed: I've owned 5 different Diamante TBs and none of them looked the the one in the above pic.

Ive never seen one like that eaither. If they did look like that, then Id have one installed already.
That looks like your 3.0L throttle body bolted onto a 3.5L upper intake plenum.
lol yea yall are right, this picture was taken before i put the throttle body in, yea the cruise control is located by the fire wall, i had to hammer the fire wall a bit to make it fit,
