First off I'll start out saying i've done my fair share of searching about this and i have found nothing on here, evom, mitsu forum and many other sites..

Im doing a evo 8 head swap and full motor build, i'm trying to adapt the evo 8 throttle cable to my eclipse. Is there an adapter plate someone sells? or do i just cut out the circle hole in the firewall into a square? Im asking because I don't want my throttle pedal to have slack, or be to close to the ground because of the different tip lengths. the distance between where the throttle cable clips to the firewall and attaches to the pedal is like 2 inches LONGER than my old eclipse throttle cable so do i need a adaper to make up the difference? or won't my pedal just go to the floor?

Is there anyone who has already done the head swap who knows exactly how to get the different cable to attatch??

please help!

I'm on Evo IM, Evo TB, and Evo TC at the moment. I'm probably going back to the 3g cable and getting a diamante throttle body to use on the Evo IM so I'll get my cruise control back. I'll have to cut the throttle cable mount on the manifold and re-weld it on the back side. Something to think about if you want cruise control.

No I'm not really concerned about cruise I'm always on and off the throttle I never even used it before. And as for using the 3G cable I thought the "evo 8 head swap parts list" says you need the evo 8 cable for some dumb reason. And wait if I use the evo 8 cable on the evo 8 tb I still gotta re wire the end of it huhhhh?????
