I have a 03 eclipse gts and I Just got new tires and now it rubs when I turn right. Ik it’s the fender liner but do any of u have some pictures of what y’all did to stop it from rubbing. Most of the posts are too old to view the pictures. Thank you plz help🤘

I just let shit happen lol rubbing with a lowers car is typical. But don’t take my word for it I let things slide pretty easily when it comes to my car.

Will likely have to bend in the bump in front of the tire. I pulled my fender liner off, bent the piece in with a hammer, then reinstalled the fender liner. Then using a heat gun warm up where the bump is, and press in while hot to reform it.

You can do it the hacksaw and sledge hammer way or you can do some planning first. The choice is yours. I am using 225/45X17's on 17X8.5" rims. I am at stock ride height, but with this tire and rim configuration I could lower it a couple of inches and I don't think it would rub. Some careful planning goes a long way. ...J.D.
