Hey all. Loved the site for 8 years, finally need help. COVID has my unemployed for three months. Forgot to remove battery terminals. I know.
Corrosion everywhere. Replaced battery and the alarm sounds. Unlock doors twice with original programmed key and nothing. Remove horn fuse and try to start the car but no turnover. I have the green car with key so the immobilized is obviously on. Lights are on and if I turn ignition to ACC the rear wiper goes and spits fluid.
Since keys and FOB do nothing I am afraid of ECU issues. Stranded. Thoughts?

I also had a blown fuse in the yellow box in the engine compartment fuse box. Not the audio fuse but the interior lights. It popped replacements immediately until I removed the aftermarket head unit. Now that fuse is good, but alarm still will not disarm from either door, trunk or FOB.
I was also slowly losing FOB functionality the last month I was driving the car.
