hey ive got a 2003 mitusbishi eclipse spyder and im looking for some sugestions on how to make it faster.. its an automatic transmition :/
basicaly i need maximum horse power posible out of each part put in but idk what or where to start :/ HELLLPPP

Get a turbo, and then you need the supercharger to help spool the turbo faster.

Change the headlamp fluid so it makes stock power again. I have an AEM sticker good for 25RWHP if you're interested in making a good quarter mile.

any specifics on parts?
cold air intakes, exausts, guages, chips, ext. ???????
You are not going to last long on the forums. If your serious about learning more on your car than you need to just spend time on the site. Also to answer your question,from what I read, their is nothing you can do that would significantly increase the "HP" in your car besides turboing or supercharge. your best option is either save up or spend your money in maintaining and keeping the car clean.

save the money for when the car brakes down or if it's close to 120k miles and needs the required maintenance. It's not cheap!.

Im in the same boat as you besides mine is a 01 gt 5spd. From what Iv been told and read, really all you can do is exhaust from headers back, maybe injectors? and super/turbo charger for it. Also a good tune... Unless you could do a engine swap with that 6g74 i believe, but I dont have the money for that.

Im in the same boat as you besides mine is a 01 gt 5spd. From what Iv been told and read, really all you can do is exhaust from headers back, maybe injectors? and super/turbo charger for it. Also a good tune... Unless you could do a engine swap with that 6g74 i believe, but I dont have the money for that.
anyone have some literature on this ^^ it sounds legit :)

Welcome. You've been advised what to do. All the information you need is here on the forums. Take the time to research if you're serious about your car.

If you havent already took your stock muffler tip off i sugest you get a flow master muffler tip and cut the catalytic converter of and straight pipe it all the way back to the tip. i did it to my car and it increased at least 5-15hp. then get the governer taken off and put the performence chip in adding 30hp.
i didn't know he was trying to give serious (but incorrect) advice. :facepalm:
i figured he was joking around like when people tell others to change their blinker fluid, etc...

They all do the same thing. You wont notice any substantial differences between a brand name one and making your own. The only way to get real power from the 4g64 is to boost it.
