[Eclipse1996]

I was going to change my wheel bearings in my 2001 Mitubishi Eclipse GT and noticed i have both drum and disc brakes. Is their a reason for this?

The little drum is the parking brake.

Why does it seem like they are used more then my disc brakes? Thanks for the quick reply.

Not sure, could be dragging due to bad adjustment or a partly seized cable not releasing fully.

I'd bet they've never been adjusted so they're rubbing all the time, i see it a lot at the shop. Also, if you to a lot of e-brake slides, that'll wear em down fast too, not really meant for it.
