OK, heres the deal...my friend who's not computer literate would like a laptop to word process and check email.
minimums would be a 14" screen
P3 800mhz or better
256MB ram or better
20GB HDD or better
CDROM or better
whatever it is, odds are i'll upgrade it some. more ram, bigger HDD etc.
even better, if the HDD is broken i can replace it for her, so if you have a lappy with a busted hard drive i may be interested in it for her. i'd pay through paypal for it, so no worries about trying to get the money from her.

I have a Toshiba Qosmio with about 2 hours on it, vista ultimate, 180GB HD, 1.6GHz, 2GB Ram. Im also selling it with a epson printer, a neoprene case, and a wireless router. All brand new never opened. If your interested let me know.

i know her budget is pretty low, probably no more than $300. so if you're looking to get more than $350 for the laptop, dont bother. sorry guys, shes on a tight budget...shes a school social worker..worse pay scale than school teacher!
