Yep the old silver car cheated the crusher one more time and is back on the road!

Weeeellllll spoke too soon. For whatever reason the o-ring(s) in the oil pump housing have failed and bleeding profusely. Back in the air ready to pull oil pan after another trip for more de-greaser. Studs in cat wrung into. Just a colossal pita can of worms. Just ordered an e-bay super cheap chineseium pipe and cat. I should get it out of my misery but just keep wrenching away.

Guess I didn't have high expectations, but couldn't be happier with the chineseium cat and pipe. Sounds factory new and no leaks. O-ring replacement seems successful, and no oil leaks thus far. Clearly pull out game is weak, so looks like it's time to freshen the car up. 1st gen TYC carbons are falling apart as well as smoked heads. Back glass is blistering badly and needs to be replaced. To-do list is starting to shape up like this:
Cluster bezel
Back glass
CV axles
Head and tail lights that don't suck
