Been thinking of doing something similar, but its low on my list of priorities at the moment. Thanks for the how-to, though.
I would, however, highly recommend a tough grille to protect that exposed woofer.
Perhaps you could give us a parts list with pricing???

I'd look at the infinity basslink, unless you really want to make something yourself.
