They do but their systems are obviously different from ours. Japanese VINs, for example, only consist of a half-dozen or so characters.

And I'll give that car one thing: It's pretty jiggy fly pimp. But if I wanted to spend buku dollars on a Mercedes-powered supercar, it'd be a Pagani Zonda.

I have seen that car before. It looks like a Mclaren F1 with more junk in the trunk.

Pagani Zonda would be my choice, as well. The thing is uber sexy and the build quality is the best i've seen outside of Aston Martin.

Yep, but isn't that VIN (W09112218PWJ02001) in the U.S. format? Or am I mistaken? It seems quite odd for a European one-of-a-kind to carry a U.S. VIN #.

I went through some old magazines that I had, and that car was built in 1993 (MT, June 1993 if anyone cares to look). It was in the concept cars section of the Frankfurt Auto Show, and labeled as such--which means there wouldn't be a VIN number at all. Add to that the only pictures of it included in that auction are the stock photos that have been around since 1993, as well as the dime-store crap that the seller has sold/bought in the past, I'm going to call bullshit.

Looks hawt, I would pimp it if they would take my eclipse as a trade! Hahaha

I don't doubt that the auction is probably a fake but in "Helga"'s defense, in his/her feedback, he/she bought a pickup truck for $18k. So not completely dime-store crap :p
