I am thinking of getting the same exhaust. I have heard problems however that the Greddy has a rasp problem when combining it with headers. I am getting RPW's (havent decided on short or long) and don't want to hear rasp. Anyone know if the Greddy does produce a rasp sound?

All exhausts get louder when you remove the front cats (V6) and replace them with headers. This is not a "GReddy problem". Even the stock exhaust is MUCH louder with headers. Any straight through system will need more resonators or at least a main cat to keep reasonable (legal) sounding with headers.

Magnaflow will sound pretty much like stock at idle and part throttle, and only perhaps slightly louder than stock when you're on it.
:agreed: I have a 2k fed spec gt, and it sounds stock, unless you go up in rpms. Mine bolted right on, it was just getting the stock exhaust off that was a pain for me. My bolts were stuck on. Get a can of PB Blaster. ;)

Well from the looks of the RPW short tubes, and longs, don't look like they remove the stock cat. It looks like it bolts up right before it keeps the cat and then the exhaust. As long as I keep that cat I shouldn't have a rasp problem?
