Maybe even port match the lower and upper intake manifold.

I am going to look into that random technology hfc.
I loved mine. By far the best on the market, you can't go wrong with one.

Get me an accurate digital model of a 3G and I can get it done.
I wouldn't even know where to begin :)
Plus I don't own a 3G anymore

look man, people on here do research. we are not stupid high school kids with civics, (even though some of us type like we are 12 (me)) we have been through everything to do. there is not too much new that we, on this board, or the other one, have not done. as far as swaps go, search. ask. more then likely we have gone over every aspect of every swap. if some newb ask about a swap, and someone says its not worth it. ITS NOT.

there are no new ideas! :p

what program would you need it in?

This would be a shibby little NA setup:
Aem Cai, bored out TB, RPW/RIPP long headers, cams, upsized injectors, randomtech hfc, catback, ECU reprgramming to make it all work.
That's essentially my plan...plus the RPW intake manifold, a P&P (package with the cams from RPW?) and higher compression pistons. I just need to win the lottery...

I'm not really interested in doing what pretty much everyone has already done (FI) because I'd like to be different. Honestly I feel my car is reasonably quick already with intake, headers, and exhaust (no, obviously it's not a 10 second car...I don't care), and I think going the whole 9 yards with N/A will be more unique, interesting, and possibly valuable to the community as a whole as well.

Name one. Can work with just about anything.

Native CATIA?

the only thing i can get to right now is solidworks.

Hmm, I know we don't have the aftermarket support of the civic, but just what else do we need?? There is a great turbo kit for both I4 and V6. The I4 is close enough to the 4g63 to take it's share of aftermarket parts from there, and there's a built shortblock for us V6ers if you want to push more. Hopefuly the ECU is next. I ain't need no more boltons, that's for sure. Everything is there, for most of us expensive, but it's there if you want performance, and reasonable performance on this FWD platform. Just my .02

can you get a solidworks model of a 3G??

I can work with that

wow, im preety good at SW but that might take some time. but since i would love to know this, i will try my best.

give me about a mounth and ill have something for you.

PS it will be a big ASS file, how would i get it to you?

I have also noticed that people have become cheap. I for one, know that if you spend a little bit more, you get higher quality. I knew when I bought this car it didnt have as much potential as others, but some people think the name "Eclipse" means all wheel drive and fast. Oh well, I know some people are still into buyin quality parts!

Dunno.

We'll have to see how big it ends up being.

Just out of curiosity, how do you plan to develop the model?

are you familer with SolidWorks, i can "draw" a scale model of it.

Since I used to sell SolidWorks, I'd say I am familiar with it.

My question was more along the line of how are you going develop the model? The compound contours of the 3G can not exactly be scaled off of your car.
