look at this skyline's for sale in the US

No, it is what they go for over there. They are a dime a dozen there. "for a car we currently have available in Japan" and it is in Japan. The legalization for those cars in southern california at a well known place is about 30 grand. That is not the shipping costs to get here either.

Are you asking if 30 grand is a good deal on a 10 year old car? Do they even say how many miles of having the shit beat out of it are on it? Even if it makes the 500hp claim, so what? This isn't 1995 anymore, there are plenty of high HP cars available legally with warranties in the states now. I don't think its worth 20 grand let alone 30.

You could just get any number of brand new cars that are just as fast for half of that....jesus, what is with the obsession over a 10 year old car?

Fine talk about a new one. How many do you see. They are $$ since you have to crash 3 to even get them to us spec. Then you have about $16,000+ to convert to us legal.

Like I posted on the other board my friend has a R33. I love it. Great ride fast and turns heads everywere we go.

Congrats, you have a fast OLD car that rides like a skateboard. And you spent how much? For far less money you could do up and Evo or STI or Cobra to do the same and at least you'd have a new car. Spending 10-15k to get my hands on a nice grand national or something would be one thing, but spending 30-70k, thats ridiculous. And who's heads are you turning? A bunch of guys? are you gay? Why do you care? I'm fairly certain no girl would know what the hell you were driving, just that it was 1) old, 2) loud, 3) and too expensive. You have NO IDEA what any of those cars have been through, and yeah, that site looks real reputable too. To each his own, but i think anyone who isnt a billionaire just buying it as a toy is :nuts:

Only 16,000? I like them because they are highly tuneable and rare (here) as hell. I have seen lambos, ferraris.. you name it... but not one on the road in the usa. The desirability factor is nice for me. Plus a right hand drive one is great.

BUT the cost is a huge deal. If i could get one for around 30k total cost it would be worth it.

You need to remove you head from you ass.

Anyone can have a EVO, and STI, a POS Cobra. or a box GN

Not anyone can have a skyline.

A skyline with little work can be a monster.


Keep your POS Ford 2000 SVT Contour. Any one can have one of them.

Also my eclipse is just a toy am I am billionaire now???

Speaking of heads in asses, actually only about 900 people can have a 2000 SVT Contour in Black Clearcoat. Even fewer with the sunroof. Personally, I have seen 7 of them in my life, including mine, and one at a dealership. And that is all model years and colors, and i have lived in 5 different states. A shade less than can have an EVO, STI, or heh, Eclipse for that matter. But not to get into a pissing contest. Also I find it interesting that you attach the prefix POS to the Ford models, and yet you drive an Eclipse. How is your sunroof doing? Mine works. The R33 Skyline looks like shit. There, i said it. It looks like an OLD car. 500-600hp, woop-di-do-di-do. An 03 Cobra with 1k in mods makes more than that. I would hope that a 30k car, with a little work (and by little im sure you dont mean 1 or 2k -see the cobra) could be a monster. If they were selling a couple year old R34's for 30k, i'd say that was a good deal, but a 10 year old car? Please. Its a fucking Nissan, it's not a Ferrari.
