Last night was a sad night at our local hangout in town "The Circuit". The roads were damp due to some light rain and a friend of mine lost control of a rare Mustang. It was a limited editon Bullet Mustang remodeled from newer 02-04 V8 mustang and painted the classic dark green. The remake was of the 1968 fastback featured in the film "Bullet". I'm not sure of all of the cars specs, but it was a beautiful car and really moved.

My friends (a group of 30) and I witnessed the wreck directly in front of us and it was horrible and thank God no one was killed or injured

Due to the driving of a normal Mustang owner after spinning all tires from 1st gear through 3rd. The car kicked sideways which may have activated the cars LSD allowing for harder handling of the car and which kept the tires from spinning. I know that this can happen and has in our 95 Z28. The car slid wildly on the wet pavement and In my opinion could have stopped if the road conditions weren't slick. The Mustang first T boned a parked Dodge Stratus in which the bumper stuck into the doors of the car and threw it against the curb bending both axles. After a ricochet off the Stratus the rear end of the Mustang basically T boned a Ford Windstar minivan with similar results of the stratus.

Two of my friends were in the Mustang and walked away unharmed. The airbags did not deploy, but both had seatbelts on and had no injuries what so ever. He is a 22 year old driver and a great driver at that. He paid for the car on his own and thank god had full coverage on it. Unfortunately our cops have a thing for street racing in town (which he wasn't) and received a $280 fine for wreckless driving and was told by an officer he will lose his license.

I will update as soon as I receive more information.

Your friend is a retard. That's no accident; the cop had it right when he handed out that reckless driving ticket.

This is rife with lies....

1.) He wrecks his from his own stupid doing, yet and he's a great driver :spock:
2.) He' is a moron and the cop had every right to bend him over without lube :agreed:
3.) Perhaps walking around and bumming for rides will teach him not to show off like a jackass.

If it was truly wreckless, then we wouldn't have a problem here would we? And Doris, I'm ashamed of you for not catching that.
Fuck you, that was just a typo. How can you make fun of my poor addled brain, Genie? :(

I guess, the Bullitt edition isn't really much of a "beast" in stock form though. The only engine difference was a redesigned intake manifold, and exhaust system. I think they made like 10 more hp, and 5 more tq. Nothing to write home about, more of an appearance package. The new intake was better for boost though as it was aluminum and not plastic like the standard GT's. Spinning through all 3 gears would seem to be an exxageration, unless he was running some boost.

I can spin the tires (all of them too) with my civic through the first 3 gears in the rain. :ugh:

Or had 4.88 gears installed on his street car :dunno:
