Car sold for its parts. Parts-only car. Car sold to someone who wants to strip it and part out.

I can't sell it as a running vehicle because the motor doesn't run the vehicle. Therefore it is a parts-car, a rebuilder, a car good only to be stripped or have a motor transplanted.

Please let me know if there is any confusion in this area.

Best,
Ed

To playa - thanks for the commentary. I've spent enough money on this platform. I'm done with it. Further committing my money into this car is stupid. I'm done with this car.

I think this is a great time to 6g74 it
It's a great opportunity for anyone who can turn a wrench and has a place to store the car. It really only needs an engine. Stock motor - stay off the boost and get it tuned for low boost. This car is ready for a built block, big fuel injectors and some big boost.

My thinking--

I don't live in VT. I live on NJ. I work in NYC. I simply do not have the time or the facilities to:

A) Transport the car back here to what? Store? No thanks.
B) Build up again? No thanks - the amount of money spent on this car easily surpasses the resale value of this car, and most 3G's - and retail value, for that very matter.
C) I don't have the time, tools, space to part this car out - or believe me, I would. Get my money back? Uh... would love to. No time / garage / yard these days.
C) I'm done modifying. I've spent far more on this car than I care to put on a spreadsheet. I should have spent it on an M3 - or invested it into stocks or 401k. Modifying just isn't for me - not right now anyway. It's an expensive little addiction.

I just simply do not understand the need to comment from people who don't have the money, interest or ability to purchase, part out, take advantage of what only consists of an opportunity to the ethusiasts who claim to be part of this site.

Please guys, if you aren't serious / in the capacity to understand what this car is, there's no point in your viewing this thread.

Sounds like I should be thanking both of you since I stand to reap the benefits.

hes just adding his :twocent:
Kicking myself would've been to keep the car and keep spending $$$ on it. I'm probably in the top 10% of those with an 3G Eclipse who had the balls to try and do what a lot of other people haven't done and spent a ton of money on it - as opposed to simply reading threads about doing it and fantasizing to myself at night that I'm getting it done. Seriously though - he's got nothing of value to add. His two cents are worth less than that. Everyone has opinions ... like @ss holes. Judging someone's decision based off of having absolutely not even the most vague concept of what they've been through is not only incredibly ignorant, but borders on the genius of the mentally incapacitated telling Stephen Hawkins he's wrong.

Car is gone. I consider it a win. I got what I wanted, the buyer got what he wanted.
